These are Regular Dumbo rats. So many parents get their children hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs or mice and those things are almost nippy, stand and stamd offish. Thay usually are so scared when humans btouch the they squal and the other hamserts or gerbals do not like being held and will let you know by biting you. This is not to say all mice or other rodents do not like being help and played with, you really have to work with them to get them past that ingraines fear of humams. Rats just live being help by the peole and sitting on their shoulder wjilebyou are othe telephome, watchinf the tele or when you are on the phone. They have will find the pockets in your shirt, sweatshirt, sweatpants or dress slacks and will curl up and go to sleep. Where as, miat aeem to eblnoy a little shower. Turn shower on very, VERY loe and they will groom themselves. They adore being held, petted, bathed and they just adore hanging out with their adopted person (s). Be careful what food is in the reach, they will eat itA
