These are disturbing times. Im looking at this Facebook news feed as if I were from another galaxy and I have some questions. Are we really so self centered and self absorbed? Are we really so shallow? Do we really think everything is simple black and white/democrat and republican/right and wrong? Do we really not care what anyone thinks as long as we are happy? And if we dont, why make a point to say so if we dont care? What is happiness anyhow? Is it the freedom to complain about what we dont like? Does your happiness hinge on making others unhappy? Do you just look at those others and think, well, its your CHOICE to be unhappy with what I do? So are we not at all responsible for what we do then? Are we really right by doing the same things that the wrong people are doing in order to get even with them for being wrong? Does anyone even know the difference between pride and ego? What makes people think they are so bloody special? Are we right in assuming that somehow if things dont go the way we want them to that we need to overpower them or beat something up? In essence beating up a thing in order to fix it? Why do we think the world and everyone in it was put here just for our pleasure? Why is not enough never enough? Where are the imaginary lines in the sand? Really? Im going back to my own galaxy, this place is hatefully insane.
