These are heartbreaking images, but necessary....truly gives a face and a name to those who are dying in shelters across the U.S. for no reason other than communities allowing it to happen. Choosing to buy instead of adopt. Choosing to not visit your local shelter because its just too hard. Choosing to look the other way and let someone else worry about it. Choosing silence and apathy over demanding a change with our voices, votes and money. There is a home out there for every one of them if we so choose.
