These are my great-grandparents, Arthur (b1888) and Polly Robinson (b1884), and their daughters Ivy (b1909) and Mary (known as Marie, b1917). This must have been taken not long before the end of the war, judging by Maries age in the photo. Ivy was my grandmother on my fathers side, but she died shortly before I was born in 1969. I dont know what regiment Arthur was in, but they lived in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Ive been doing a lot of research on our family tree, and Pollys family was very interesting - full of characters! Ive lived in London since 1991, and in Camberwell since 1999.
