Over and over for years. #GBCB Become familiar with, enforce and FOLLOW all Board policies,regulations, Administrative procedures, other directions given by district administrators and State and federal laws as they affect the performance of job duties. #GBL. Pursuant to state law, the names, positions, salaries and lengths of service of all employees are public information and must be released upon request. This is board policy-This policy is STATE LAW. #GCB. The Board shall have final authority in determining the salary schedule and benefits for all teachers in the District. #GCKA. Extra duty assignments, which make major demands on a teacher’s time, shall be compensated in accordance with an extra duty allowance salary schedule established annually by the Board. Faculty members to be appointed to extra duty positions will be recommended by the superintendent and approved by the Board. #GCBA No one can advance more than one (1) step vertically and one (1) column horizontally per year unless otherwise approved by the Board. The salary a teacher will receive will be determined at the time the teacher contracts with the district or by June 1 for tenured teachers. A teacher cannot progress on the salary schedule after entering into a contract for a school year, unless authorized in the contract.
