These are photos of my beloved-for-no-known-reason Porsche 928, taken late in 2010 as I prepared for winter storage. The garage was just full of one of everything, like it always seems to be, so The Red Menace spent the night outdoors. It rained, then cooled very quickly, leaving the entire car covered with frozen rain. The overall effect of the light, the color of the car, and the interesting texture of the ice make for my favorite 928 pictures. Ive been waiting for a part for this damned thing since June; it FINALLY shipped yesterday and will be here any time now... This car is the perfect balance of pain and pleasure. It can be a chore to own. Its beyond complex, and far beyond expensive. But its built like an endurance racer, and when running properly is just WICKED! Today is a happy day as THE PART IS ON THE WAY! So the pleasure today is outweighing the pain. Its always a short-lived condition.
