These are pictures of KittyKans Scratch Mountain cardboard scratcher. The first photo is a stock photo from the companys website. The next two photos are Scratch Mountains that have been in my house for 18+ months. The one with the tile below it is in a room that has had anywhere from 2-6 cats in there at any given time. The one with the green tub behind it is in with the garage crew, which can be anywhere from 8-14 cats. It just broke in the last week or two. The bedroom kitties can shred a regular cardboard scratcher in a couple of weeks. The garage crew has been known to shred a regular cardboard scratcher in a week-ish. (My garage has a portable AC in it, along with part of the air conditioning and heat from the house being routed out there.) At first glance, the $29.99 cost for them seems *real* high. But when you compare it to how many regular cardboard scratchers mine would have gone thru, its dirt cheap. Some of our other foster homes wouldnt mind trying some of these out.
