These are some of the bravest most radical men to have ever served in the US Senate and Congress. There was never before, nor has there been ever since a more representative, more democratic, more equitable time, and above all no other time with more authentic restorative justice in the entire history of our democratic republic than that very brief time-- barely three election cycles when Black Radical RECONSTRUCTION Republicans were enfranchised and empowered to make social justice law. Hiram Rhodes Revels was one of the very best and the race supremacist defeated enslavers and their miserable allies did everything in their power to prevent his assuming his rightful place among fellow lawmakers. Let us all together sing praises to whom all praises are due.
