These are the snowbanks I saw this morning. The heavy snow stopped on Wednesday. The city of Ironwood had more than adaquate time to remove these. As I walked into the Pines Cafe, I met a lady who is in Emergency Services - she expressed dismay at the fact that the city had pulled the plows, because apparently, they ran out of funds. Folks, its November! We cannot be a city that functions if we fail to provide the needed services. We have a City Commission and a DIDA which adopted the Blueprint Plan, as a map forward to better our downtown. Our downtown businesses need customers. There is no excuse for this.
