These days Blacks are less significant in Charleston than they were as slaves here. Now we cant do shit for Charleston but leave & make more room for the Affluent to expand more. And in all these centuries, Majority of Whites are still praising this city on one hand, but on the other are either uncomfortable with, ashamed of, or are in denial about the view of Black Lives. I wonder what tourists say when they come to Charleston & see the segregation & polarity of flourishing Whites & diminishing Blacks. Charlestons claim to fame is slavery, with its casual & happy Slave Days tourism. Charleston you are terribly unique.
