These days almost all airlines charge convenience fee to book tickets on their website !!! I mean what convenience in the era of e-ticketing ?Do airlines expect us to come to their offices and buy old paper tickets ? (which incidentally are phased out long back !! ).So simple question..if IATA mandates airlines to issue e-tickets,the name itself suggests it is online ticket record.,Airlines also save cost of establishment if more people book online..then why this so called convenience fee is charged for web booking?
