These dogs from Egypt just really get to me and the saddest part is so many there even if they are lucky enough to make it to the shelter are left dragging themselves from their injuries and with no feeling in their back legs they drag themselves until until they have bones showing and are consumed with infection to the point that many we cant help or get to in time to even get on a flight here to the US to help due to the infection and exposed bones. I had a idea today and I spoke to a awesome man Jerry West who most knows for the wheel chairs he makes. I just keep thinking if I can get these dogs that are stuck there in Egypt some sort of resources and help until rescue here can get to them then maybe we can improve their lives there on some level until we can get to them. So anyway I spoke to Jerry and he has agreed to help me . We are working on a plan to get a few carts a month made and then sent to the shelter there for these dogs and hopefully make their lives a little easier... not everyone has shared my compassion and need to help these animals there and I told Jerry when we started out the conversation I would totally understand if he wasnt up for it but he never hesitated and was willing to help me help these dogs there in any way he could...
