These frackers will talk any old bollocks to sell their nasty wares, theyve just made out it could be the saving grace for British industry... As in for INEOS only! Its not like all the industrial jobs that were farmed out are just going to waft back here on a cloud of radon-laced shale gas when realists say it is only ever going to cover 10% of our energy needs. Its a turkey Ponzi scheme and anyone who invests in it is putting the economic and environmental safety of the country at risk. Anyone who is taken in by the jobs argument is being done up like a kipper. We do not have the expertise in this country. This workforce will predominantly be rednecks shipped in from the environmental disaster theyve caused in the US. With only knock-on effect jobs in service to the industry. The only jobs in industry will be poorly paid apprenticeships, presumably for kids who dont mind being more radioactive than someone who lives in the fictional environmental horror town of Springfield. Furthermore, they couldnt manage to do it safely in the US with a much tighter geology - where they underestimated rogue methane emissions by over 100%. (Methane by the way has the environmental warming affect of melting the ice caps 100 times quicker than CO2!) by comparison our geology is like Cinder toffee... So no leaks to surface and water to worry about at all. And its not like were a heavily populated island where the seismic affects will go totally unnoticed and whole villages will be swallowed up by rigs, and compressors and 24/7 flaring of radioactive gas. Its not like weve got solar power, or wind power, or tidal power or biomass... Oh hang on.... We do?!! Then lets stop this fracking madness! #frackoff
