These girls got sick of just sitting there while their apartment got stoned in a Jerusalem neighborhood so they ran after the terrorists, who in response ran away. We are afraid in these situations, but in many cases the attackers arent the bravest. True story: a few years ago I kept getting stoned on a particular road in Jerusalem. They would throw blocks from higher ground which was not visible from the road. As a result the blocks would come crashing through the windshield with no warning, which was quite terrifying. The first time it happened to me, I slammed my foot on the accelerator and got out of there, heart beating and adrenaline pumping. It took me a few hours to stop shaking. Second time, same story but my reaction was a little less hysterical. Third time, I had had it. I screeched to a stop, got out of the car, and started yelling at my attackers. They ran away. Fast. Point of my story? Maybe that we need to do more standing up for ourselves and less being afraid.
