These images are made in one exposure of a real time light setup. When they are downloaded there is little or no manipulation in photoshop. Light setups, or configurations are projections using a variety of light sources with fixed optics, transparencies and reflective surfaces. Some setups are complex and require numbers of dismal failures before a usable image can be captured. Other setups are simple and yield a good image quickly. The subjects in these photographs only exist as light. Several images have been taken to the next step and printed on archival paper, mounted to lucite and encased in a museum quality frame. The prints are generally 48 inches by 36 inches. The finished photographic prints have a finer visual quality. They have more depth and sharpness.
