These insurgents holding the country to ransom, are they invincible that they cannot be conquered, are they invisible that they cannot be seen? Reports say they go about in convoy of cars killing, maiming and destroying unhindered. Are they not children of men? Did they fall from heaven? Are there not men who can locate their hideout? Is the terrain worse than the Niger Delta that the military cannot record any breakthrough? The military should realise that those of us from the Niger Delta are watching with keen interest the unfolding scenario in the North East. If it is Niger Delta now, it would have been a different ball game. If the intent of the insurgents is to embarrass Jonathans government, the only difference is just time. No group has monopoly of violence. Let them get this into their skull: Jonathan is a Christian and he will never change his religion. He is not a coward that he will be intimidated not to run for second term. If he desires to run, then so be it. The country belongs to all of us both majority and minority tribes.
