These its been a great year photo albums that Facebook creates automatically for people filled me with a wide range of feelings. But please dont take this as complaining. Ill start by saying I do enjoy seeing summaries of peoples year, (Just to get that point out of the way). Seeing these instant albums, I am reminded that my ever efficient mother never failed to update a photo album, or create a new one, within two weeks of a major holiday, trip, or milestone event. Hundreds of albums! I have achieved this after exactly 3 trips: A day trip to the Daniel Boone Homestead at age 12 with my first camera; The spring vacation in Nassau at age 15 with Grandma, Bruce, and Marie Gibby Wilkes; And a trip down the California coast with Stan Binner in 1988. The other issue is that every time Facebook shows me its proposed 2014 David Morrison album, it is full of pictures of old buildings in Harrisburg, not tropical beaches. Truisms can be a tad irritating sometimes. I guess I want to say its been a great year! in my own way and on my own terms.
