These past few days have been very sad around here, and of course Ive been very readily posting that, but I want to give a huge shout out to the wonderful people in my life who lift me up and keep me steady on my feet. First off, happy birthday to one of my best friends, Mel Emurian. Did you have your birthday pie yet? Thank you Sally Olsen for the great yarn find and Lenora Gifford Evans for delivering said yarn. Vintage 70s yarn in vintage 70s colors. Maybe not what I usually use, but I think I could make some awesome 70s type afghans. Im psyched. Something to keep me warm on these cold nights. No, I wont keep the finished products, Ill sell them, but they will keep me warm while Im working on them :) A huge thank you Linda Sinicropi Palmieri and Harveys Home, Garden & Pet Center for teaming up earlier this week to make sure the kitties and doggies had plenty of great food to eat. Thank you to the folks who ordered crochet and paid in advance so that I could buy the other supplies I needed. Im hacking away at the orders in between emergencies and doc appointments. Tiffany Ruth Olsen, your elephant only needs his little poofy thing. The rest is all crocheted, stuffed, and sewn up. Thank you to all of you who read my whining rants and leave me words of hope and encouragement and also to those who read and just pray quietly. I need to pull out of this funk that Im in. Not sure what it will take to get me there, but I do know that all of you are keeping my feet on the ground. I have not fallen yet, and it is thanks to my wonderfully awesome friends. So, I am cracking the whip, finishing the pink poofy thing, getting on to magic horses and unicorns, and just taking it easy tonight so Ill be bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrows adoption event at Amsterdam Tractor Supply where Lori Smith and Cindy Roberts will cheer me on. Love you ladies!!!
