These people do not seem to be learning the correct lesson from this election. I and many others understand the need for improving the roads and bridges in Missouri, so you dont need to convince us of that. The problem was that a statewide sales tax was maybe the stupidest way to finance these things. If you propose an amendment to make I-70 a toll road, Ill vote for it, despite the fact that I drive on it frequently. I use it, so I should pay for it, and so should all the truckers who drive on it. That makes sense.
