These pictures are from November and make me realize how quickly time slips away from all of us...especially me! I met Areej less than a year ago. We were able to spend time together with her taking pictures of me for her photography project. It made me realize what people go through being on the opposite side of the camera. After several times of getting together, we were able to keep in touch. Sadly, though, I had ideas of getting together and doing different things...but time passed. I knew that she only had last semester and would be finished with school. Thankfully, we were able to get together in November to take these pics. My plans were to try again for more pictures before she headed back home. We talked and had tried to make plans before her departure. With the holidays and the busyness of life, we both were focused elsewhere. Now, she is halfway around the world! I am thankful that I was able to get to know her and spend some time with her, but I am sad that I was unable to have some priorities switched around to make time. As my picture of the sunset from that day declares....We only have so much time to use, use it wisely. Tomorrow is a new day. Learn from the past. Make a difference in the future. *One of my top reasons for liking Facebook is being able to keep in contact with almost anyone, almost anywhere. :) You are missed Areej!!
