These rails are part of the Dupont Branch in Newburgh, NY. There was a little yard short of the Dupont Branch, probably to rearrange the cars. It looks to me like the actual line going into the Dupont plant was a single track, so if there was anything interesting to be done to move cars around, it probably had to be done here. The little creek is the Quassaic Creek, and Im out behind WinNelson, an electrical distributor on Little Britain Road. I had parked in their lot on the Saturday (they were closed) of my explore, but they now have a gate on the parking lot. Not sure how to get back here now. Ray Kelly probably has something to add to this.
