These sunrise photos are from Castroville, California (population about 7,000 and two miles from the ocean) this morning. While walking our dogs, my son and I (a devoted lover of Orkney) watched the clouds turn colors from fairly dark at 6:50 AM to a splendid pink-salmon at 7:10 AM. We rarely get gorgeous sunrises like you do in Orkney, so I thought Id share one of our rare lovely mornings with my Orkney Sky friends. Hope you dont mind. Photos are from my iphone.
