These two are facing multiple charges after an early morning drug investigation: This morning at approximately 3:00 am, an alert deputy made contact with a suspicious person near a motel on Barrancas Avenue. The suspect, later identified as Ethan Lamar Anderson, 29, drove into the parking lot and quickly exited his vehicle. Anderson fled on foot from deputies. When he was apprehended, it was determined that he had an active warrant in Alabama and was placed under arrest. Located on the ground where Anderson was originally standing was approximately 60 grams of crystal methamphetamine as well as marijuana and a handgun that was reported stolen in 2012. Anderson was charged with trafficking methamphetamines, grand theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and resisting an officer without violence for a total bond of $123,000. Further investigation revealed that Anderson also had a room at the motel. There ECSO Narcotics Investigators found Shana Nicole Hills, the occupant of the room, along with narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Hill was later arrested on drug charges as well.
