These two events couldnt be more different, but today I reflect on both, as they have impacted my life. Seeing The Beatles on September 11, 1964 began my interest in music that lives to this day. Working on the 72nd floor of 2 World Trade Center for 4 years in the mid 80s, makes you realize how fleeting life is and how our countrys freedoms cant be taken for granted. Spent 20+ years working in lower Manhattan, in buildings in and immediately around the WTC Complex, and happened to be on the telephone, looking at the building when it was bombed the first time, in February, 1993, where the terrorists intended to topple 1 WTC into 2 WTC and 6 people died. Seeing two 107 story buildings lying in a pile of rubble, over the bodies of 3,000 people, 8 years later makes you never forget.
