These two pictures were taken Sunday 11/30. The first photo shows a vehicle parked under a clearly visible no parking sign. The vehicle on the right is pulling into to the fire station for a reported fire. The second photo shows the vehicle still parked there 20 minutes later after the apparatus has returned and is being put back in service. The vehicle was parked in such a manner that the responding apparatus had to make a wider than normal turn to exit the station. The owner of the vehicle is not a firefighter and did not bother to move the vehicle when they heard the fire siren go off. We ask all residents and visitors to be considerate and not park in front of the station or in front of the bay doors. If you have to park in the station parking lot please move your vehicle if you hear the fire siren go off. Remember when the fire siren goes off it is for an emergency and could be for a call for assistance for you or a member of your family. Please keep the front of the fire station clear.
