These were/are my gals and guys. Betty Friedans The Feminine Mystique changed my life. It was the first book that I read that affirmed my thoughts and feelings about womens place in the world. It was wonderful time. We gained so much that now the powers that be on the far right wing are doing everything they can to destroy those gains. The multinational corporatists depend upon the baby-making and the underpaid labor of women to support their ever-growing profits. With rare exceptions, they are fascists, nihilists who care for nothing of enduring value, and they never did. Lysistrata, rise!
