They Dont Keepem Long Its definitely not a trend for the Patriots to keep their star players too long (except Tom Brady). What seems to be becoming a trend is for the Broncos to pick up old Patriots. That clearly did not work in their favor. Did you see the Super Bowl? Yikes. Former Patriot, Aqib Talib, has signed a deal with The Broncos for $57 million over six years. Just give me $1 mil. Ironically the two former Patriots, Wes Welker and Aqib Talib, are just good enough to help teams get to the Super Bowl. Pah! Darrelle Revis (cornerback) was just released from the Buccaneers. He could be a potential New Patriot along with Antonio Cromartie (cornerback). These would be solid pickups to help the struggling Patriot defense. On the offensive side, Edelman (wide receiver) may be crying wolf saying he is going to leave if he doesnt get more money. Hes good but hes not that good. Lets move on from Edelman and pick up Hakeem Nicks (Free agent from NYG). That man can play! Thoughts?
