They MADE me go to the Lymington Carnival ..next year I would rather have my eyes poked out with red hot knitting needles !! Why dont the British just own up to the fact that we dont "do " Carnivals at all ....they are always tacky , ill thought out , badly supported , cheesy and cringe worthy and every body watching knows it, but goes through the "English Thing" of watching anyway but mentally taking the pxxx out of the idiots who thought having a float was a good idea ....in the pub in January after a few drinks !! Carnivals should go the same way as bloody Morris Dancers !!!
