They all admitted it was their first time......................and 5 hours later they also admitted theyd not had so much fun in a long long time. At 10 am on Saturday morning, Dhruv, Samir, Rohit, Nitin and the team from Rural Mania donned their grubbiest attire and got down the scraping the walls of the library, in preparation for the painting project. An hour later, with aching arms we looked around for our relief crew - and they came by the dozens, begging to be a part of the fun.. so each was given 15 minutes to have a go at it, before they were packed off for a bath and treated to a packet of biscuits. See the Indian jugaad at work.. Gyaneshwar tied the sandpaper to a stick to reach where his tiny arms could not.... this guy is sure to go places!!! We painted till about 4 pm and the professional painter then applied one coat thus cleverly camouflaging our amateurish but very sincere efforts. What an amazing experience !
