They are talking about desertion this morning on the news. Seems a soldier deserted his platoon. One man said he felt the deserter should be put in front of a firing squad, no one had kind words for this deserter I wonder how God feels if we desert what He has given us to do or we do it half heartedly. Not sure who God is having me write these post today for, maybe it is even for me. It is easy to become complacent but hard to keep doing what God has called us to do with the same passion as when we started, but it is possible. I am checking my heart today and ask each of you to do the same that we will get back to doing what God has called us to do with the same fire we had when we started. Dont stay a deserter. Repent of it and get back on the firing line, after all there are still lost people in the world, the harvest is still ripe and the laborers are still few, that lost one may be depending on you to get to them, will you get to them? Rekindle the fire and go, go into the world proclaiming the love of Christ for it is a matter of heaven versus hell for someone.
