They are the top predator here in South East Kansas, there will never be a shortage of this animal, no matter where it is at. It is a matter of trying to control the animal population, and help expand the growth of other game and non game animals in our area. The farmers and ranchers have to deal with the threat of loss of livestock, and as the Coyote continues to expand his range, even in the rural areas, it becomes more of a threat to humans and domestic pets. I like the challenge of hunting this super cunning and smart animal, trying to trick him into coming in to a call, is a thrill that can only be had by getting out into the countryside, visiting with the local farmers, and find out where they see the Coyotes the most, then setting up a place to call, I will always find a way to hunt this creature, it is a sport and a personal challenge that draws me time and time again. : )
