They are truly empty souls who prey upon people with certain characteristic traits. Thos who are empathetic, nurturing, loving, compassionate, caring, giving, intelligent, self sufficient, and strong. The reason is simple: The narcissists lack these qualities, that make them real, they are unable to love, unable to give, they are unable to be their true authentic selves. In order to accomplish this they will take and not give, they will become very demanding, degrading, inhumane, they will make others lower their standards to appease them. The victims have no idea that this is what is happening as its happening to them. The warning signs may have gone unnoticed as they werent familiar with the disorder of NPD ( Narcissistic Personality Disorder). As they familiarize themselves and become increasingly aware of this type of disorder and subsequent personality and behavioral types they are less likely to become a target.
