They become bestsellers. Who knows, I may even write one: The X number Secrets of Whatever. There are bank deposits representing just how successful many of these authors were in revealing these secrets. The Holy Bible informs us there are no secrets in Gods design. There are mysteries that are revealed selectively, however. This is mere speculation on my part but these books are no doubt successful because people want a way to circumvent investing themselves in discovering the how-tos of life. I have read some of them and I have also spent time with God and continue to do so. He tells me in Jeremiah 29:11 that he has the plans for my life; plans to prosper me and to give me hope and a future. Why not a direct connect? And then he makes known to us mysteries, he speaks in parables so I, whos in an intimate relationship with him, can understand and be in the know. It could be how you personally define success and that it can be yours without including God. That is not the belief of Christ-followers. To us, God is above all, ahead of all, beneath all, beside all, in all - God is ALL. If it is to be, it comes through God. He does not withhold from us by keeping secrets. The price has been paid for us to know all things and applying faith in God for all things.
