They cooked up the KFC hoax as a method making the girls real life story of the pit bull attack go viral and spur donations to an online donations routing service (gofundme). She really does have a ton of medical bills. KFC is *still* giving them $30,000 and the gofundme account went from under $2000 before the hoax to over $135,000 after. Im not an ends-justify-the-means guy, but in my opinion they were boldly leveraging social media to rais awareness of their little girls needs in an incredibly effective way. I think what they did was brilliant. They pulled a PR stunt. How many regular Joes like us even THINK do be that daring? Celebs do that crap all the stinkin time! Major corporations do it too! Politicians, seriously! The little girl will be helped and they told a little white lie to get her that help. thumbs up from me.
