“They cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them - TopicsExpress

“They cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.” -Psalm 107:19-20 Heavenly Father, we pray on behalf of the untold numbers of people who are suffering from Ebola in African nations. We ask that you would send forth your word and heal them and deliver them from distress. We bless the health care workers who risk their lives to serve others. Protect them as they serve in various communities. Give doctors and nurses wisdom when treating their patients. We ask for supernatural insight into how to prevent this disease and may Your knowledge for a cure be revealed. We pray for national leaders in Africa and around the world in making decisions to protect and serve their citizens. May courage, compassion, and fearlessness lead them in making choices that will honor and preserve people’s lives. Jesus, we remember well the days you walked the earth in the flesh, preaching the good news of the Kingdom, healing every disease and sickness. Jesus, may You be seen again through Your sons and daughters, as they pray for the sick and raise the dead. And in doing so, bringing many more sons and daughters into Your glorious kingdom. We ask all this, in the Name of the One whose wounds have healed us, amen.
