They dont even consciously understand why they dont want weed legalized. This is why: it breaks up entrenched belief systems, it fractures fundamentalism, it makes the mind malleable. Whats the saying about truth being so evident it doesnt need to defend itself? The truth is that, like the relatively small but ever-present and ultimately dominating force of gravity, the universe/life is skewed towards cooperation. A malleable brain will naturally settle in a place where it understands that working together works better. Nature rewards compassion and the systems that are foisted on us currently are in direct opposition to true democracy and the socialization of global problem solving. These repressive systems are aberrations that need to be held in place with force, they can never be balanced and the gatekeepers can never relax. They cannot win, they can only delay their retirement. What they dont realize is how much happier they will be when they can stop exploiting people and relieve their own consciousnesses of the burden of responsibility. Legalize. Change the world.
