They got dad in a geri chair we went in the back yard for about 15-20 mins today, it wore us out. :-) With his I. V. Pole in tow. He spoke a new word today out , when I asked if hed like to go outside. Im very active with his p.t./o.t., his mind is good, we are finding ways that he can talk/communicate, to ease both our frustration. We hope to be w/o the foley tube soon, next goal-find a way he can sit comfortably with his peg tube, in a wheel chair. He was tired from the move, from hospital to rehab/nursing home last night. Man, what a trooper, my dad is!! :-) Im trying to remember all your well wishes, prayers, hugs, etc. Ill write it down for him. He smiles as best as he can, face muscles still not great yet. Strokes sux!! Also, if you can, cancel, or NEVER sign up for Humana... they, too sux!! Blessings and our deep appreciation, love and respect to you all :-).
