They had to take my mother to the ER this morning, she had been getting confused and depressed. They found that she has a Hematoma, bleeding on the brain, which is causing her recent behavior. We had to convince her to give up her drivers license a month ago and thought it was just depression. They have her at Charleston General Hospital right now getting ready to do surgery. My nephew is a Doctor there and my sister and another nephew work there. The Doctor who is preforming the surgery is a friend of my brother, so we know she is being well cared for. The hard part for me is being so far away. I am the oldest and should be there for support with my family but I cannot. I patiently wait by the phone waiting to hear good news.
