They have decided to start Johnny with PT lessons weekly and treat him as a torticollis patient. He will now be receiving OT on Mondays and PT on Tuesdays every week. Today they said they are not comfortable with labeling him a torticollis patient just yet if ever but that he does show some of the signs and that to help get him to where he needs to be he needs to be doing the torticollis exercises. During the high risk appointment a few things were talked about .. Once this sick period is over we are going to start weening Johnny off oxygen. It will be a very slow processes that way he gets to keep the oxygen as a safety net during winter in case if something goes wrong and he gets really sick and needs it. We are also in a couple weeks going to start the transition into weening Johnny off night feeds. During his last appointment at the peds office I was hoping they were going to be able to give Johnny something for his cough and cold but they still said they could not. Poor guy has had it for a month now. We did find out that he has an ear infection and eczema ( both very good reasons on why he has been crying and whining so much lately). They gave me medicine for his ear infection and a name of a good cream for the eczema. Sorry the post is so late.. All week Johnny has had these periods of crying and whining ( always wanting to be held). So its been cuddle central in the Hiatt house. I feel so bad for our munchkin. You can just tell by looking at him that he does not feel well. I finally have him in bed and hopefully he will sleep comfortably tonight. Thank you all so much for the prayers !
