They have said in past years that they cannot afford the expense of keeping it open any longer than one weekend a year. Might a make a suggestion of opening up even if it is just one more weekend. My guess is that it would sell out as well and be financially beneficial to operate it for one more weekend. There have been enough turned down and not being able to get tickets due to them being SOLD OUT over the past couple of years that the overflow from that would allow those people to come to the alternate weekend and it would probably equally sell out. My family and I used to come every year for several years in a row but now with limited spaces the past 2 years that I have tried to attend have been sold out....and now is the time that I need to come because my family has grown from just my 1 child that I used to attend with to 3 and my two youngest children have never had the opportunity to attend due to selling out. Seems like someone would see this as a prime opportunity to make up for any loss that they think they have or might have in the future. It could even be a Spring or Summer event. Wouldnt even have to be back to back weekends....even though most people associate OZ with the Fall. I hope that whoever needs to see this will and take the advise and recommendations that I have seen so many others make on this site. Also, if anyone has tickets that they will have available please post so that maybe some others might get a chance to go this year. Thank everyone in advance!
