They padded it with enough action movie clichés to draw interest - TopicsExpress

They padded it with enough action movie clichés to draw interest from secular crowds, they hid the outright blasphemy well enough to please gullible Christian crowds, and they mocked Biblical theology blatantly enough to delight the critics. If youre thinking about seeing the movie Noah, youre going to want to read this review first! After reading the detailed description of this movie (yes, he has seen the movie), I completely agree. Noah is a masterful marketing scheme. This is by far the most thorough, brilliantly-written (and hilariously entertaining!) review of this movie that Ive read! Why do I care so much? Because I am the gatekeeper for my son and the messages and images he has seared into his brain at a vulnerable age. He will not forget what he sees, and when it comes to the Word of God, I want an accurate portrayal to coincide with what he hears preached from the pulpit and what he reads in the Bible. This is not just any other story--its a BIBLE story--the same Bible he is building his life upon and learning to trust as absolute truth. As our pastor, John Hagee, said this morning, 80% of what we read, we forget, but 80% of what we SEE, we remember. God holds me accountable as a Christian leader in my sphere of influence and in my home to do my own homework and stand up for righteousness. The director of this movie is an ATHEIST, and the movies interpretation of this account in the Bible is a mockery. Not just that, but why go to this when we have choices like Gods Not Dead or Heaven is for Real? or even the Muppet movie? I encourage you to look closer and see this movie for what it really is...all you need to know is in this review!
