They put my mom on oxygen last night because of her rapid breathing. I can hardly handle seeing her because she has medication to control her horrible pain and yet she is almost too out of it to eat, speak, suck from a straw, etc., without nodding off again. I have to take my mind away from thoughts of her for awhile so that I can do what I have to do today until I see her later in the afternoon. She still giggled a couple of times this morning when I told her I loved her.
