They say accept the things you cannot change I say accept that you cannot change certain things you do not have accept anything or anyone in your life that pulls you down. Im practicing what I preach and closing the door on feelings of rejection and inferiority created by a need to obtain the love and respect of people who will never give it. To them I say keep it... and while youre at it keep your judgements, hypocrisy and martyr-mentality. I may have my shortcomings laid out for you all to see and gab and gossip about... But I do not hide from the mistakes Ive made. I dont lie to myself or others about the broken path Ive walked to get where I am. I simply look to people in hopes that they love me despite my imperfections... Foolish I know ,that might require the kind of unconditional love you can really only expect from family...
