They say it takes a village, well sometimes it takes two states! - TopicsExpress

They say it takes a village, well sometimes it takes two states! We have the greatest group of people surrounding us at Smoky Mountain Spinnery. In March we did the Southern Select Alpaca Show and this weekend we did the Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts Festival. Even though there were kinks in our lives, we still carried on. Many thanks to Cris Vittitoe, Karen Keene, Frances Fox Shambaugh, April Baker, Amy Mears, JoAnne Cruz-Neary, Leedra Mize Scott, Connie Ottow, Tamie Parton, Dale Vittitoe (our truck driver and loader) and Joe and Wendy Koenig - from Kentucky (who let their Mom work while they visited and helped unload) and I know I left some people out and I apologize. We could not have done without any of you!!! It was a great weekend both at the show and the shop. Thanks to all who attended the show and supported fiber arts in East Tennessee and thanks to those who came to the shop. And thanks to Deborah Adams and Lynn Hash and all who worked hard! Blessings to all!!! Oh, and how can I leave out the spirit of Smoky Mountain Spinnery - Miss Ruby! She got swept away by Joe Koenig after the show!! Welcome back to your home, Miss Ruby!!!
