They say memories are golden, well that may be true. I never wanted memories, I only wanted you. A million times I needed you, a million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, no one could ever fill. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal. RIP Papa Simons. It has been too long since I have seen you, heard your voice or felt your hugs. You are always in my thoughts and in my heart. I know you are with me every day and watching over all of us and smiling. I will make you proud every day. I am grateful that you are my papa, and blessed that I had opportunity to have you in my life and touch my heart. You taught me lessons I will never forget. I love you forever and always, and miss you every day.
