They say that in the North Pole There is a scroll That many will never find As they resist the cold, Sometimes, we must sacrifice, From head to toe To know What its all worth, To understand birth And its incredible meaning, She was something to see.... But up until this point That is all she ever dared to be, Didnt understand her With a great degree of clarity, Locked in between two different speeds- Brocolli and smoothies, People believe that they can remove You From the picture, Ditch your belongings On a heavily wooded trail Until everyone forgets, You could throw Decomposing bodies Into tar pits And the memory Will fail to cease, And the conscience Will fail To be at ease, And just when you Thought You completely Erased them... Youre forced to wake And face them, Its climbing on top Of rocks That extend out Into the ocean While trying to avoid The pockets, The ones that hold The crabs, The parasites that walk Like living scabs, The pieces of trash, The squirrels that burrow Beneath the dirt That never seem to hurt The ecosystem, Everyday you miss them Butnot like this, Amethysts that pour light From their insides Just in time to catch your Mind Off guard.
