They say time is a healer and indeed I concur. However, even when a wound heals, it leaves a scar behind. A scar that will perpetually be with whosoever for so long as he is alive and kicking. Two years ago today, I became the first member of the family to receive the saddest news that year, the demise of my loving father and confidant, Elder Henry Maoga Oyugi. Two years on, we stand tall as a family to say that we moved on. You got no idea the kind of ridicule fatherless kids go through, I wouldnt have left so early if I were you. Our hearts still full of love and fond memories. You were always proud of me even when sometimes I tripped, cause you knew I would be back on my feet. Kindly send my regards to Marrie, Kenny, Eva, Mandugu, Oyugi, Nyonga, Otore, and Okongo, who are all departed. Cant wait dad... #IOut.
