They say utamu wa jugu no kukula moja moja translated to mean - TopicsExpress

They say utamu wa jugu no kukula moja moja translated to mean sweetness of grounnut is eating one one. Or the other one saying stop eating me in the pocket like groundnuts. And exactly thats how Vinni and Bosnia are carrying us, child! Today we found a notice in the vehicle. They were actually rules which we are supposed to adhere to. They must be joking. This I beleive must be after last week incident. For those who may not have read or their memory card have disconnected, last week near Kakuzi, we requested Vinni and Bosnia, the coductors of Irathimo buses that ply Rumuruti Nairobi, to stop the vehicle so that we go for a need in the bushes. Most of us it was just a small need. Then the bus stated moving on its own making people emerge from the bushes in the most undescribable manner. Tell me were we asking for too much? is it not within our constitutional right and God given duty to request to go for a moment? Are we the ones who left the engine running or failed to pull handbrake? Take rule 1, for instance food from outside isnt allowed you are making the vehicle smell kibore. Kibore is manure in our language which I partly agree you see some passagers come with ugali of sleep and tea, rabbit meat, sugarcane and ovacando, all one person in the name of beatig cold. And another one with diffrent combination and another we are about 20 in the behind house of the bus. After a while, naturally, people sleep in jam of Thika road, digestion takes place and they produce some thunder sounds from the other end sometimes accompanied by strong smell. But no one complain we all know today is me tomorrow is you. If people dont complain why bother them. Rule 2: for example. Dont accept food from people you dont know. One, they should have used used one word for many as taught by Mrs Ndegwa my primary school English teacher ... people you dont know are called strangers . Now where are those haters who say me isnt know English. Isnt it me know English? ;) Two tell me who is the stranger in this bus... well I dont know who sits next to the driver since the driver sits in another house (sorry compartment) but we know ourselves those of us who sit behind, like personally me myself I sit just above the back wheels next to mama Joy, the one of mali mali. Ahead or I front of me is Jose the sons chief, sorry again I meant the chiefs son who trades in mtumba, on the other side is mama Siema I refused to sit next to her since the day she gave me ugali of sleep and maziwa mara (remember its rude to refuse an offer to eat in Rumuruti and you can imagine how that day was) and Maina Koroga the one who deals with inner sole za viatu. Kwanza ana viatu zangu amekataa kurepair ilikua ina leak maji. What am saying is we know each other in this bus we are brothers. They are, I think, 7 rules, the customers made noise from Rumuruti to Nairobi and to make maters worse they still stopped at Kakuzi. I think its Mama Siema who made him stop that lady talks as if she has some energizer batteries kwa mdomo. She should have joined Radio . In the mean time battle lines have been drawn. And by the way Vinni reminded her that rule 6 says that iwhoever stops the bus to go for whether small long or intermediate need he will be charges 20 Bob. To this Mama Siena replied asituletee kwani tunaenda kukojoa wa kichaka take.... akicheza Sikh moja tutamkojolea name tumlipe hiyo 20 bob Well, sisemi kitu....Prof sees many times ... this one he is waiting to see.
