They say, when it rains, it pours... I would agree, so Im asking for your prayers again. In addition to our current setbacks, we recently discovered that Lorenzo has more concerns with other parts of his urinary system that are also negatively impacting his transplanted kidney. I am asking that you take some time to pray with us for *discernment on behalf of the doctors and our family, peace of mind and heart, and parental guidance as we may inevitably make some very tough decisions on his behalf that will ultimately affect his longterm quality of life (this is probably the only time we would wish he was older... To include him in on our decisions). However, I do believe that what God has for us, He has for us, and our journeys have been carefully and personally chosen for all of us. So in that, I try to find peace with so many things seeming to be going wrong ...and maybe its not, maybe its apart of His greater plan, meaning it has purpose. But I have remembered to step back to say thank you for allowing us to experience times on this journey where things were good for us orgoing right in our opinion. But to end with good news, your prayers have worked. Lorenzos Bk virus numbers have went from an uncountable > 1 million to 500k to 77k over the past week after the 3rd infusion treatment he received. This is so huge for him. If we completely get rid of this virus, we could possibly save the 50% of whats left of his transplanted kidney. We continue to celebrate all things big and small, so please continue to pray for us. I know this post was very long... Sorry...but thank you for being another outlet (and I also know that there are so many people who would like updates on the reason why we have been admitted to the hospital again)
