Countrywide settled class actions brought by the Federal Trade Commission, filed on behalf of an African America Woman from the Metro East St. Louis area when they sold her a Sub-Prime Mortgage though she qualified for a FHA guaranteed loan, and all those similarly situated. The California N. A. A. C. P. filed suit in Federal Court; asking that California Banks be prevented from continuing to originate Sub-Prime Mortgages to consumers, because African American were being unfairly targeted -for the practices, California lead the top among worst negatively effected states by the Sub-Prime Mortgage Debacle; which lead the economys -meltdown in 2008. Bank of America bought Countrywide Mortgage Corp. These employees have all run out of unemployment insurance by now. They should have caused themselves to get fired while these Corporations were having them participate in defrauding consumers, and the government -better yet; if they had banded together, and claimed -Whistle Blower Protection, in the governments Whistle Blowers Program, they would be receiving a percentage of the amount the judge -in this matter will order Thursday -the 24th, of October, 2013.
